Working with members of the Community of Practice, the Faculty Development Subcommittee will implement the following goals:

  • •   Support Faculty/librarians in the enhanced use of culturally inclusive pedagogies including hands-on workshops, book clubs, and open discussions
  • •   Create a cohort of Faculty Advising Coordinators who will work with students and faculty to support the academic goals of identified student groups
  • •   Offer information to Faculty/librarians in the enhanced use of culturally inclusive principles in their research and scholarship through programming offered by the Diversity Inclusion Research Institute (DIRI)
  • •   Invite Speakers (external and internal) to offer skill-building opportunities in culturally inclusive pedagogies and practices.
