Discrimination Complaint Procedures

A person who believes he/she has been discriminated against on the basis of race, color, creed, religion, national origin, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, marital status, or veteran status may:

  • File an informal claim either permitting or not permitting the use of his/her name, in an effort to resolve the matter.
  • File a formal complaint without first filing an informal complaint.
  • File a charge directly with the local, state, or federal agency having appropriate jurisdiction.

It is the intent of the Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity/Disability Compliance Office to actively respond to all claims and/or complaints of discrimination with the hope that we can fully, quickly and adequately resolve them internally.
